The voting is on for the top spots on the Monopoly World edition gameboard!

You can see the ups and downs of the vote % in the top 20 cities over the last few weeks. Highlight one of the 68 cities in the graph by clicking on its name on the left.

Currently there has been a big push from Eastern Europe and Turkey. Belgrade, Serbia and Riga, Latvia have been making a steady climb for over a week. Beglrade has a large facebook group with over 1500 people which could explain the rise, but Riga doesn't. Istanbul has an even larger facebook group of 3000, but it is still hard to account for its huge jump starting on the 13th of February. Maybe some media exposure for it that day?

Meanhwhile, the triumvirate of big Western cultural capitals that dominated early on - Paris, London, New York - have gone AWOL with no sign of a resurgence in sight.
